Hello there!

This is a page explaining my contribution to the game 'My Lover's Body is a Temple (and together we make Miracles)'.  This page, and the page for my collaborator Logan, exist so that by putting all pages in a bundle, we can both receive payment for our work (itch does not currently support any other form of revenue sharing).

So what did I bring to the temple?

I was delighted when @stargazersasha announced the #TRANSFUCKINGJAM in April, after all these great trans jams in 2022 ; i had a lot of fun participating in #TRANSFUCKINGRAGEJAM and the Reliquary Weekly Jams last year, and i met so many amazing people in the discord community. I was playing ttrpg for years, but getting started on the creative side of it is a blast. I met Logan and so many talented ttrpg authors and i feel so lucky i get to do some layouts for them. For this jam i was pleased to propose my layouts to the community ; and i was very happy when Logan asked me to work on 'My Lover's Body is a Temple (and together we make Miracles)'.

I think Logan is a great author, he can write very evocative and beautiful texts, and i am very in love with this game of his. 

For this layout, i chose to use photographies of different temples around the world, from different religions. Logan's was describing "high ceilings, sweeping vistas, but also dust covered surfaces and cracks", and i wanted to unite all these pictures with a black&white aesthetic as i imagine the Worshipper going in these old Temple's corridors, dark but also warm and welcoming.

To play the game you will need a deck of tarot cards, and the way the cards are spread on the table will map the shape of the Temple. Logan came up with this amazing idea, and i wanted to draw the spreads as evocative as real map plans as possible. We are used to see old maps in ttrpg, but i love this idea of tarots cards, where a card is also a room and together they are the whole body of the Temple.
